Credentials
We understand the paramount importance that all information is conveyed accurately and concisely. All translations are performed by professional linguists, working exclusively into their mother tongue and chosen technical field, with a minimum of five years experience in full-time translation. In addition, all our technical translators have university degrees and have previously worked within their respective industries.
All our linguists are members of various acclaimed worldwide language associations and are rigorously examined to assess their capabilities. In addition to our in-house staff, we use a network of professional translators whom we employ on the basis of their knowledge and experience of your industry. Most of these translators work in their native country. This helps to produce a higher quality translation, as residents inevitably have a better knowledge of the evolution in language and culture in their country.
Dedicated Project Managers
An experienced multilingual project manager is allocated to every assignment and co-ordinates every aspect from beginning to end. Your personal project manager is responsible for:
- Identifying your specific requirements, the nature and purpose of the commissioned text.
- Project scheduling to conform to deadlines.
- Assessing formats and output requirements.
- If your text contains company-specific terminology, we will work closely with your business and in-country reviewers to incorporate preferential terminology.

Proofreading
This service is highly recommended for legal documents and those intended for publication.
The translation is carefully proofread by a second independent and fully qualified mother tongue linguist. The proofreader checks each part of the text against the original to ensure translation is accurate from a technical and linguistic point of view. This involves correcting any errors in terminology, spelling and grammar.
Any changes made during this stage are discussed and reviewed by all linguists involved in the assignment.
Terminology Management
The use of Translation Memory Software (such as SDL & TRADOS) allows our translators to create a linguistic database during the process of translation. So, if the same or similar source text is encountered in future translation work, our translators have the previously translated phrase at their fingertips. This ensures consistency in the use of terms, increased productivity and cost savings.
To ensure consistency in future projects, we always aim to use the same translation team. Glossaries are routinely compiled and any necessary research is undertaken.
